2014 Wedding Trend Report: Part II

;;One of the most exciting parts of planning a wedding is shopping for the perfect gown! Our 2014 Trend Report wouldn't be complete without bridal gowns. After scoping out all the new collections during NY Bridal Week and The Knot/Wedding Channel Couture Show, here are our favorite wedding gown trends for this upcoming season!

;;Low backs

(Top 2 gowns: Watters & Watters/Bottom 2 gowns: YSA Makino & Stephen Yearick)
;;This upcoming season is all about the sexy low back gown! We spotted low backs on every type of gown: from slinky destination gowns to ornate ball gowns. Dare to bare?

;;Illusion Necks

;
(Gown by Justin Alexander Bridal)
;We saw the start of the illusion neck trend last season during market, but this season, they are everywhere! Illusion necklines are great for brides who want to be a little covered while still being fashionable and modern.

;;Flounce skirts/Horsehair hems

;
(Gown by Casablanca Bridal)
;Many of the designers seemed to incorporate flounce skirts or horsehair hems into their new collection. Its all about then soft, graceful movement of the gown as you walk down the aisle. We personally love this look, as it gives off such an airy, romantic, ethereal feel.

;;Colors

;
(Gown by Watters & Watters)
;We are spotting more and more colors on bridal gowns every market season. The colors just keep getting bolder! We were loving Watters & Watters gorgeous Wisteria colored bridal gowns at their show. Be on the lookout for more champagne, blush pink, blue, lavender and even black gowns in the Fall!
